B Is for Babble
When a baby begins to babble, the b sounds is often heard – in part because it’s one of the easier sounds for a baby to make. But it’s also one of the sounds the he’ll hear quite often. The words that begin with b featured in this book are common words that you child probably encounters on a daily basis – bubbles in his bath, a ball or blanket in his bedroom, and so on. Take time to find other objects that begin with b, such as blocks, bananas, bells, and books, in your house and identify them for your baby. He will learn to associate the words with objects. When he’s ready, his babbling will gradually turn into words.
